issued a notification for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). If you want to become a teacher in UP Primary Schools, Junior High Schools, Inter Colleges then you must appear in UPTET exam. To become a government teacher, it is must. Without TET score card or BTC, today you can’t be a teacher in UP.

Candidates who want to participate in UPTET
exam, must apply online. Online application forms registration is going to
start very soon. Last date for submission of online
application forms will be announce very soon. Regarding UPTET exam, notification will issue from April (expected) from that you
can obtain all information of UPTET.

Required
Eligibility Criteria – There are
different-different eligibility criteria for Primary Level teacher and Upper
Primary Level teachers. So see below for particular post eligibility details.
Eligibility
Criteria for Primary Level teacher: Candidates
who have Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks with 2 years diploma in
special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary
education, my apply.

Criteria for Upper Primary Level teacher: Graduation
degree with minimum of 50% marks holder candidates with one year degree in
elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in
BTC/CT (Nursery)/ NTT, may apply for UPTET.
Details
of application fee: Candidates must remit Rs. 500
as payment of UPTET exam application fee. SC/ ST category candidates must
pay only Rs. 150 as payment of application fee.
Mode
of Selection – On the basis of written test performance,
candidates selection decision will be taken.
UPTET
Score card – Candidates who will qualify UPTET
written test, a score card will be provided them which will be valid Till Next UPTET
exam.

Procedure to apply for UPTET
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online. Online
application forms should be register from opening date to closing date which will declare in upcoming days. You must apply online through upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Any other mode or way of application forms should not be accepted.
