Union public service commission is

About IPS Exam
Now we are telling you about IPS that Prior to Independence,
senior police officers belonging to the Imperial Police (IP) were selected
through Secretary of State on the basis of a competitive exam. At first civil
service examination was held for admission to the service in England in the
Mont of June, eighteen ninety three and 10 top applicants were selected as
probationers in Indian (Imperial) Police. It is not possible to pinpoint an
exact date on which Indian Police came formally in the being. Around one
thousand nine hundred seven, the Secretary of State's officers were directed to
wear the letters "IP" on their epaulettes in order to distinguish
them from the other officers not recruited by the Secretary of State via exam.
In this sense, one thousand nine hundred seven (1907) could be regarded as the
starting point. In nineteen forty eight, one year after India gained
independence; the Imperial Police was replaced by Indian Police Service (IPS).
IPS Exam Online Application Form
If candidates want to get job in the IPS then candidates will

Female/Physically Handicapped aspirants are exempted from payment of

IPS Exam Notification Entire Information
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have qualification eligibility
in Degree of any of the recognized University/ Institution.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-. SC/ST/
Female/Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Age Limitation: Applicant’s age should be between 21 years to 32 years as on the last
date of notification. Age Relaxation will be applicable for ST/SC contenders up
to 5 years and OBS contenders up to 3 years.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written
exam & interview.

is www.upsconline.nic.in.
You can fill online application from two different stages which is
mentioned below:
Registration Part I:
- Fill all the details regarding your Qualification, Age, and Address, Nationality, Marital status, Valid Email Id and phone number.
- Submit it to get registration number.
Registration Part II:
- Log in Again with your registration number.
- Pay the required fees via Challan or online payment (Debit/Credit card or Net Banking)
- If you have paid fees via Challan then enter your transaction details accordingly.
- Choose your Examination centre.
- Take printout of online application for future use.
