General English / General Studies (Compulsory Subjects):
This section is of 200 marks and it consists of Objective Type Questions and it
covers the topics such as:
- Current affairs
- History
- Geography
- All the news about good and bad occurring in the World.
Optional Engineering Categories Subjects: Check points-
- This is the main section of exam and it possesses both kinds of questions Objective type Questions and Descriptive Type.
- Considered full marks are 800 for this category of exam.
- It covers the whole topic of the Engineering according to the stream (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Tele-communication) opted by candidates.
- This section is also known as Technical Section.
- These two topics cover the whole syllabus of IES or IES consists of the following topics in which applicants are required to qualify to get good Job.
Selection Process: Organization
