Eligibility Criteria for Admission: Read
all the lines written here.
For UG Medical and Dental: Applying applicants should have passed
in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central
Government, the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry
and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.
English is one of the subjects, as in the previous
years, to be tested along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology during COMEDK
UGET. The General Merit candidates should secure not less than 50% marks
in English (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).
Eligibility
criteria for UG Engineering and Architecture are as follows:
Engineering:
The
qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. / B. Arch is second qPUC or 10+2 Higher
Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government;
the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
Diploma students are not capable to be a part of
Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
Architecture:
The
prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC
or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination
with Mathematics as one of the
subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central /
State Government and having obtained at least 50%
marks in aggregate (45% in the case of
SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).
Applicants should have appeared for National Aptitude
Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a
minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category
students.
c) There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates
seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
Applicants seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate
application.
Limitation of Age: Applicants age must have
17 years of the year of
admission to the MBBS / BDS course.
Application Fee: Candidates need to submit application fee of Rs 1200/-.
Exam
Pattern:
- Language: The examination of COMEDK UGET will be asked in English medium only.
- Type of Questions: It contains the questions of objective type.
- Syllabus: The syllabus of the entrance test is based on 12th/2nd PUC.
- Marking Scheme: The students are provided with one mark for each correct answer
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
- Duration: The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours, of which 2 hour is for Physics & chemistry paper and one hour is for Mathematics paper.

- Applicants are required to open official website of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka that is www.comedk.org.
- Then, login account using the generated ID and password
- Press on the suitable link.
- Now candidates should fill application form completely.
- Upload the photograph and signature
- Press on the Submit tab
- Take a print out for future use.
