Educational Qualification –
For Ph.D in Physics Program: Applicants must have
passed M.Sc. in Physics or M.Sc/ M.E/ M.Tech in related
disciplines/M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Physics / Applied Mathematics /
Optics and Photonics / Instrumentation / Electronics will also be considered at
IIA.
For Integrated Ph.D Program at IISER:
Appliers should have done their Graduates with bachelor’s degree in
Physics/Technology/Engineering will be considered for the Int. Ph.D. program in
Physics.
Application Fee: See below
- For General and OBC candidates – Rs. 300/-
- For SC/ST category candidates – Rs. 150/-
- Candidates need to submit fee along with the application through online using debit/credit cards and net-banking. Payment by any other mode will not be accepted.
Selection Process: Candidates selection will be done on the basis
of qualifying marks of Joint Entrance Screening Test followed by other process
of admission.
Paper Pattern:
The questions are based on the general syllabi of graduation and
post-graduation level courses offered by various Indian universities and
institutions.
