www.upsc.gov.in CMS Admission Overview
Eligibility
Criteria: Nationality of applicants must be of India, a subject
of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to
India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently
settling in India.
Educational Qualification: Applicants
must have MBBS from any university recognized by MCI, India (appearing
candidates of final year can also apply) for appearing in this examination.
Age Limit: Age of applying applicants
should have 32 years as per the rules of Union Public Service Commission.
Relaxation in age of the aspirants for SC/ ST and other reserved categories
will be as per the government norms.
Application Fee: Students are required to
submit given below application fee in any branch of SBI either net banking or
by cash.
For General category candidates:
Rs.200/
No application fee will pay by SC / ST / PH / women
category applicants according to the decision of the UPSC.
Selection Process: Students will be
selected on the basis of Computer based examination and personality test which will
be conducted by Union Public Service Commission as per their norms.
UPSC
CMS Exam Pattern: Combined Medical Services Examination will
be held in two parts Part-I & Part-II. First one will be computer based and
second is personality test.

Computer Based Examination: Computer based examination
will be operated in 2 papers which will be carrying a maximum of 500 marks.

Part
II Personality Test: Personality test will consist of 100 Marks
to check Candidate’s intellectual curiosity, the balance of judgment and
alertness of mind, critical powers of assimilation, ability for social
cohesion, initiative and capability for leadership, the integrity of character
as per the rules of Union Public Service Commission.
Note:
For each wrong answer one-third (0.33) marks will be deducted as negative
marks.
